Information Handled When You Visit

Our hosting and security providers may process ordinary technical information such as your IP address, browser type, device type, requested pages, timestamps, and security events. We use this information to deliver the site, prevent abuse, diagnose problems, and understand basic site performance.

We do not offer user accounts or comments. Never send your Social Security number, benefit details or other sensitive personal information through our contact form.

The Office Finder Runs in Your Browser

When you search by ZIP code, city or office name, your browser downloads the site's public office list and ZIP code locations and does the search on your device. What you type is not sent to us or stored on our servers.

If you choose "Use My Location," your browser asks your permission first. Your location is used on your device to sort offices by distance and is not sent to us. You can decline and type a ZIP code instead.

Messages Sent Through Our Contact Form

Our contact form asks for your name, email address, and message so we can read and respond to corrections, advertising questions, and privacy requests. The form sends your message to our inbox through our email provider. We use Cloudflare Turnstile to help prevent automated submissions; Cloudflare processes verification information for that purpose. Messages are not passed to the Social Security Administration.

Advertising and Cookies From Google AdSense

This site shows display ads served by Google AdSense. Google and its partners use cookies and similar technology to serve ads, to limit how often you see an ad, to measure ad performance and, depending on your choices, to show ads based on your visits to this and other websites. Google may process your IP address, device and browser details, and the pages you view for these purposes.

To protect you, we may need to verify a request before acting on it.

We do not currently change site behavior in response to a browser's Do Not Track signal. Where a legally recognized opt-out signal applies to our practices, we will honor it as required.

This site is intended for adults looking for Social Security office information, not for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
